Music
The music class enhances students’ knowledge and enjoyment of music. Students will learn how music is used in commercials, entertainment, celebrations, accompanying dance and how music can promote a particular feeling. Students will be able to identify various types of music-pop, rock, country, classical, jazz, etc. Students should be able to identify several musical instruments by sight and sound and enjoy music appreciation while learning how to keep basic rhythm.

The Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble
The Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble (ECPE) has performed across North Carolina and New York, and collaborated with a wide range of musicians, actors, dancers, and filmmakers, challenging audience expectations everywhere they go. With minimal editing and overdubbing, their critically acclaimed recordings (on the Albany International and Microearth Record labels) have been used by NPR programs, a TV commercial, and as the theme music for the Echo Network’s Storyline radio program.

Dance/Drama/Theatre
The focus is on teaching the whole student in a no frills, non-competitive environment where dancing and acting is fun and rewarding. All classes help our students reach their fullest potential
