Donations

Your gift to The Enrichment Center-An affiliated chapter of The Arc will provide support in creating avenues to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to become more self-reliant and independent promoting their talents through visual arts, seeking employment, and financial assistance.

The Enrichment Center relies on support from community and corporate donors to provide financial resources that ensure the continuation and broadening of current programs and services for those we support.

 

Ways to give. . .

Donors can contribute and provide financial support for programs and services for the individuals and families that we serve throughout eleven counties in North Carolina.

Donors may send gifts or pledges anytime during the year and can include:

 

The Endowment Fund

In 2006, The Enrichment Center’s Board of Directors established the endowment fund that is held at The Winston-Salem Foundation with the purpose of providing support for The Enrichment Center.

 

In-kind Donations

The Enrichment Center is grateful for individuals and corporations that are interested in donating items that provide support of all aspects of our operations including programs, administration, and fundraising.

The act of giving is highly personal. Philanthropists believe that life is better when you give something back. Volunteer

The Enrichment Center-An Affiliated Chapter of The Arc is grateful for the many individuals that volunteer making many of our programs, services, events, and exhibitions successful. Without their time, talent, commitment, and generous heart we could not create awareness in our community of the many collaborations and successes that happen everyday at The Enrichment Center.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Assist our classroom instructors in art, dance, computer technology, functional living
  • skills, and much more.
  • Assist in the Gateway Gallery & Studio.
  • Assist with maintaining our facility and grounds through gardening, painting, etc.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as, filing, data entry, phones, etc.
  • Assist with our Rec/Leisure class sharing a special talent such as reading, playing a musical instrument, arts/crafts, etc.
